In this half-day training experience, participants will discover their EQ strengths, recognize their EQ potential, and commit to customized strategies for building agility. Background and Theory
The Agile EQ model assumes that there are a variety of different social and emotional skills that are necessary to successfully navigate relationships and work. These are skills like being assertive, managing one’s temper, or showing compassion. The Agile EQ model arranges these skills into eight mindsets (e.g., self-assured, composed, empathetic).
Everything DiSC® Agile EQ™ helps learners explore the concept of emotional intelligence and its importance in today’s workplace. It helps participants recognize the need for a variety of responses and provides tips and guidance for learning to stretch to those responses that might initially feel uncomfortable. It also provides concrete strategies to help them move beyond their comfort zone and adopt the optimal response in any given situation. Ultimately, learners become more effective at navigating different workplace challenges and interactions.
The Profile
The Everything DiSC Agile EQ profile provides participants with valuable insights that allow them to discover an agile approach to workplace interactions. In this personalized, 26-page profile, participants will discover their DiSC style, learn about the instinctive mindsets that shape their responses and interactions, recognize opportunities to stretch beyond what comes naturally to them, and gain actionable strategies to become more agile in their approach to social and emotional situations.
The Classroom Experience
The Everything DiSC Agile EQ Facilitation Kit includes three modules (varying from 60-100 minutes), fully-scripted facilitation guide with engaging activities, and Agile EQ-focused video. It is provided as unlocked PowerPoint® slides and Word documents, making customization easier than ever:
- Select and switch out video clips
- Modify the presentation slides, Facilitator’s Guide, and handouts
